Introducing Bridgeport, Connecticut!

For those of you have not met Achilla Johnson yet, and need to as soon as possible, Achilla is born and raised in the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Her mother, Ailina Harris, is a Bridgeport police officer, and her father, Brendan Johnson, grew up in Father Panik Village.  As someone who grew up in Connecticut(Stratford/Naugatuck), I’ve taken it upon myself to highlight the state’s underrate racial and economic diversity, and Achilla The Strong emphasizes that throughout the story.

Achilla The Strong

The blue street is indicative of Bridgeport. The green sign is for Stratford where she moves in with her father.

Angel of War will take you to other major cities in Connecticut; Hartford, New Haven, and Waterbury.  It will show a wider scope of Connecticut’s political environment, sports culture, and racial issues.  Angel of War will paint as complete and honest a picture  of Connecticut that a fictional novel can create with a splash of science fiction.  Upon reading it, you’ll find that Connecticut isn’t much different from numerous states across the country with numerous nationalities and levels of economic status.

Achilla Johnson 2

This is Achilla in New Haven. You’ll find why she’s there in Angel of War.

However, it’s important to highlight the city where Achilla’s epic story begins. This documentary on Bridgeport’s mayoral campaign gives a good glimpse of the city; good, bad, and everything else. It’s a must watch, and I highly recommend watching the rest of the series.  For now, just watch the second episode. You won’t regret it.

CT stand up!

No Apologies,

G. Miller
