Jessica Jones and Charlottesville – a parody

After the sad, infuriating events that unfolded in Charlottesville this weekend, I decided to do what I do best and write my own social commentary on the subject.

I also tried my hand at comedy.

Normally my writing is a lot heavier than this because I prefer to give social issues the gravity they deserve, but sometimes it’s good to laugh at the sad truth, especially when it’s absurd.

This is all a parody, and Jessica Jones(plus the subsequent screenshots) is the property of Melissa Rosenberg and Marvel Studios.   The dialogue, however, is mine.

Have fun!

I hope you enjoyed reading those as much as I did making them.

No more racism, my friends.

No apologies,

P.S. Rest in peace to Heather Heyer, Lt. H. Jay Cullen, and Trooper-Pilot Berke M.M. Bates who died this weekend in Charlottesville.
